
More than 30 DePaul University student activists held a 28-hour-long "sit-out" in front of DePaul University's Student Center in Lincoln Park to protest DePaul's ongoing refusal to build infrastructure to combat rape and domestic partner violence.
The sit-out, which ran Wednesday May 23 until Thursday May 24, ended with a meeting with with a DePaul administration official, who "made a verbal agreement to create a coordinator position for sexual assault and dating violence and to re-evaluate training of campus security and university staff."
