Easter Sunday Mass Disrupted by Anti-War Action
Today, the 11AM Easter Sunday Mass at Holy Name Cathedral Auditorium was the target of an anti-war action by Catholic Schoolgirls Against the War. Cardinal Francis George had started his Homily when six members of the group their action with shouted comments about the continuing war in Iraq. As the protesters laid down after covering themselves in blood, ushers and security personnel attempted to remove them. After being ushered out of the mass, Chicago Police placed them under arrest.
