Black Agenda Report’s BRUCE DIXON to Headline Protest on the 10th Anniversary of Afghanistan War

Anti-war activist and frequent Obama critic Bruce Dixon will be the keynote speaker at a march on Obama 2012 national headquarters on the 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.

The march and rally will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, October 8 at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Congress Parkway.

Dixon is Managing Editor of Black Agenda Report and author of pieces such as ”Barack Obama VS Those Craaazy Republicans: Is He the Lesser Evil, or the More Effective Evil?”

Joining Dixon on the podium will be people like Mary Dean, a volunteer with Voices for Creative Nonviolence, who returned from a month-long visit to Afghanistan in mid-August, and Alejandro Villatoro of Iraq Veterans Against the War, an Army Reservist who returned from a deployment to Afghanistan in mid-August.
