BREAKING: Whittier supporters regalvanize sit-in to defend Casita; police on scene

Activists in support of La Casita have renewed their sit-in amidst the Chicago Public Schools going back on a previous deal to save the schoolhouse at Whittier in Pilsen. A stand-off involving CPS security, Whittier supporters and Chicago police appears imminent. Below are some dispatches from the Facebook page from the protest scene.
URGENT: They just tried to get a dumpster through but the moms and allies blocked the access. CPS security may be getting ready to call the cops WE NEED PEOPLE TO COME THROUGH NOW TO SUPPORT!
