Greeting Fellow Workers!!!! As many of us go off to march against the war on October 27th, on the 28th we will return to work where we are directed, mandated and forced to sell our labor to survive. For many of us we are harassed at work, face discrimination, low pay, unsafe conditions, and other unjust practices. Yet with only 12% of the current workforce unionized it is unlikely that maintaining social relations between bosses will lead to a large labor movement. Yet if we work over 40 hours a week and we are fighting for direct democracy, it only makes sense to organize at the point of production.
This workshop will focus on the history and development of U.S labor, a history of the I.W.W, and a know your rights as an employee training.
