Peace Pledge-Chicago is launching a city-wide campaign to encourage the City Council to pass a resolution to Bring the Troops Home from Iraq. To this end, we have written a petition and a draft City Council resolution. We hope to use the petition to obtain lots of signatures from all over the City to present to City Council. With lots of signatures in hand, the Aldermen will feel the support for passing such a resolution. We are contacting several aldermen to find sponsors for the resolution.

There will be a workshop and discussion on this campaign on Monday, June 13, at 6:00 PM at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center, 2739 W. Division (near California).
