Many different groups have endorsed or encouraged a boycott or divestment campaign against Israel at this point. This list is not comprehensive as Gush Shalom apparently does not consider Gilo, Pisgat Ze'ev and French Hill (amongst others) settlements despite being on the Palestinian side of the Green Line. It is however, a starting point for the more limited of the divestment/boycott campaigns. Most of these products do not make it to Chicago but some do, especially some of the more popular wines (Golan Winery, etc). For groups or individuals planning a wider divestment/boycott campaign this list will be only of partial use. Have fun shopping, or not shopping.

Note:

Agricultural products (Vegetables, Fruit and Flowers), constitute a major part settlement production. They are usually mixed with products made in Israel, so currently, locating the exact origin of such products is nearly impossible.

We want the Israeli authorities to make this distinction possible by stating clearly whether a certain product is imported from in Israel or from a settlement.

You can help a lot by writing to your store management, demanding this marking and by constantly asking the storekeeper for the exact origin of such products.
