Please join us for an afternoon with world-renowned historian and Israeli dissident Ilan Pappé. Pappé will survey the fallout from the Israeli occupation of Palestine and place it in historical context. Further, he will asses the recent admission of Palestine into the UN, and the impact of the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.

Ilan Pappé has been described as "Israel's bravest, most principled, most incisive historian" by the critically acclaimed journalist and filmmaker John Pilger.

He is co-author, with Noam Chomsky, of Gaza in Crisis: Reflections on Israel's War Against the Palestinians, "a sober and unflinching analysis that should be read and reckoned with by anyone concerned with practicable change in the long-suffering region," in the words of Publishers Weekly

Pappé is also the author or The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine; The Modern Middle East; The Modern History Palestine, One Land, Two Peoples; The Israel-Palestine Question; History From Within: Politics and Ideas in Middle East, Jordan in the Middle East: The Making of a Pivotal State; The Making of the Arab-Israeli Conflict, 1947–1951; Britain and the Arab-Israeli Conflict
