Dr. Cusimano Love was supposed to be teaching a class on terrorism at the Pentagon on September 11th 2001, but a dead car battery kept her out of harm's way. She recalls her experience of that day as well as of those in her class who were not so lucky. Cusimano Love believes that peace is imminently possible and argues that the misguided decisions made in response to the catastrophic events of September 11th have not only kept us from achieving peace, but were made against the recommendations of top military officials.
