We have completely unverifiable elections in this city. You have no idea if your vote was counted correctly, none, and remember it was Stalin who said, "It is not who votes that counts, it is who counts the votes!"

We do not know if the Touch Screen machines are tampered with, we do not know if the totals at the end of the day are fudged or not. We can not personally verify our votes, period! Where there is money and power there is always the distinct possibility of corruption!

We are not saying that the Aldermanic elections were corrupted, remember it takes a lot of money and power to arrange for fraud! All of the votes can not be flipped, that is too obvious! Election fraud in this day and age is more subtle and hidden.

We ask for anyone to send us copies of poll tapes and report any irregularities that they saw yesterday. Please include the Ward and Precinct number written on it, please fax it to 773-360-3422 or email me and we will arrange some way to pick it up.

(Please do not include any reports of people stealing candidate signs or literature, that happens all over the city and we really can not do anything about it!)

Last night we got several poll tapes with just the Touch Screen machine counts on them vs the poll tapes with both the Optical Scan and Touch Screen counts on them. The poll tapes with the Touch Screen only counts had percentages for Rahm that were way off the so called official results; 76% for Rahm vs the consolidated poll tapes that showed an average of 55-56%. This was just in a few Wards so ? but this might represent an almost a 20% swing for Rahm on the completely hackable Touch Screen machines. This is just one little piece of evidence that the elections might be skewed but we are in the process of digging up much more evidence, we need as much help as we can get for this effort. Not convinced that we might have had election fraud yesterday? Well try this little exercise to convince yourself that something went wrong;

The papers reported today (February 23, 2011) that in 35 Wards Rahm received more than 50% of the vote. We had a 40% voter turnout yesterday so that would mean that in the following Wards 50% or more of the voters voted for Rahm. That means that 1 out 2 voters voted for Rahm in these Wards. If you are in one of the following Wards, did 1 out of 2 of your friends, family and neighbors vote for Rahm? Check it out, please ask them, convince yourself that something went wrong. Our City is worth this small exercise, it is worth you doing a little investigation for yourself-please for the love of democracy, check it out!

When you have convinced yourself that something is wrong please sign up for this effort. We will need people to help with discovery recounts and down at the Board of Elections digging up some evidence.

One thing you can start doing today is emailing and calling the Chicago and National media and simple say that you do not believe the results. You do not need to go into details, just "I do not believe or trust the results of elections that are counted behind close doors and inside black box machines!"
