Be sure to complete Schedule M for Line 40 on your 1040 income tax return to get your economic stimulus if your adjusted gross income is less than $95,000 a year ($190,000 on joint return) or you are not a dependent on another return. It is called Making Work Pay and Government Retireee Credits.

The IRS is catching this for us this year and recomputing our tax refund since they did not both to alert anyone about this economic stimulus, essentially our tax dollars being returned, for a maximum of $400 for single people and $800 for married couples. For most of us, it helps with one month's expenses; the point is, we need it and it does not go to the war machine.
