Reports from Police Board action vs. anti-gay cop Richard Fiorito
The wave of bad publicity for the Chicago Police Department and its anti-gay cop Richard Fiorito continued Thursday night with an action at a meeting of the Police Board.

Richard Fiorito is not just "one bad apple" in an otherwise good barrel at the Town Hall Police Station, located at Addison and Halsted in the heart of the gay entertainment district.
Many of his illegal actions were witnessed by fellow officers who failed to report it. Under Illinois law, that itself is a crime.
With now 37 federal lawsuits filed against him, we demand the criminal indictment and vigorous prosecution of Fiorito.
The Cook County States Attorney Anita Alvarez acted quickly and vigorously when the head of the police sergeant's union came under suspicion of stealing from his fellow officers. But when cops like Fiorito have mountains of evidence showing they committed crimes against civilians, she's AWOL.
