About our ongoing campaign:

Petach Tikva, known in Israel as the “mother of settlements,” is the first Jewish-exclusive settlement built in Palestine on the land previously owned by the Palestinians of Mlabbes. Today, it is the home of one of the largest interrogation and detention centers in Israel. It is well documented that Palestinian detainees are routinely tortured and detained indefinitely without facing charges in Petach Tikva – not unlike the conditions at Guantanamo. We demand an end to the Sister City partnership between the City of Chicago and Petach Tikva.

We join the Palestinian call for boycott, divestment and sanctions on Israel.
We demand that Israel ends its occupation of Palestinian lands.
We support self-determination for the Palestinian people and demand the Right of Return for all Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

End the Sister City Partnership between Chicago and Petach Tikva!
