We wish to finally welcome audiences to Half-Light Less Rendered. This is a gallery event displaying nude photographs that blend into a story about the human condition and exemplify the crying echoes that call, inside our most desolate moments, where sex begins the cycle of surrender. We want to draw local interest in the Chicagoland area so people can attend our gallery on September 13th, 2009.

Half-Light Less Rendered is the only original gallery that represents the female form in color. Let it be known that all of these photographs were shot on film with no flash photography, no airbrushing, and absolutely no photoshop. Nobody else in the U.S. has done this, not in Manhattan, L.A., or Chicago. These photographs go beyond flesh and take audiences inside themselves where they can live in spaces that they thought were never alive, thus find feelings that they thought they never deserved.

When we do a show or gallery we like to give audiences choices. Since there is FREE wine and refreshments for the full 3 hours of the event, we like to be prepared to know how much work we have to do beforehand. If you can make a decision early and pay in advance, or call to let us know that you are coming, then the ticket price is $10. We feel that anyone who takes a chance on art and makes decisions early must be rewarded. If you have trouble making decisions and decide to show up at the door as a stranger then you will pay $25 at the door. We have taken a lot of chances and made a lot of decisions and of course spent a lot of money to give audiences this opportunity. All that we ask in return is for you to pre pay or call to let us know that you are coming so that we know how many people will attend and that will allow us to understand how the event will run.

Your interpretation matters. Once you attend this event we would like to hear your view and perspective on these photographs. It helps us with future projects and extends hope for art to live again in America.

There is a dress code for the event. Please, for all practical reasons do not wear any hats or professional sports paraphernalia. This is a high-class event with deeply original photographs and we feel that we want to see you and your identity instead of your favorite team. You are all originals - don’t conform. Dream again.

We will see you on September 13th.
