On the 8th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, activists in Chicago and around the nation are protesting the United States' escalation of war in that country and neighboring Pakistan.
A Saturday, Oct. 3rd march in Hyde Park near President Obama's home is being organized to protest his spreading the war to Pakistan, sending more troops to Afghanistan than former President Bush, and apparent plans to send even more.

Please join us for an open organizing meeting to organize this and other anti-war actions around the 8th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan:
