We are raising money for two important causes:

DENNIS DIXON is a well known local labor activist in Chicago. He was brutally assaulted on the CTA and is improving daily. He desperately needs funds to regain his life footing.

SANA TV of Baghdad, Iraq is a satellite station and an extension of the secular Iraqi Freedom Congress. They have been raided by the US military SIX times, equipment destroyed each time. The last two General Managers are missing, presumed dead. They are endeavoring to get the images of war-torn Baghdad out for world view and Labor Beat will be featuring a few of their productions.

Ten dollar minimum donation requested, which will be divided 50/50 between each cause. No one will be turned away. Food and low cost beverages will be available.

Convenient public transportation is accessible from the Green Line (walk two blocks south) or the Blue Line (Walk three blocks north) on the Ashland stop. Street parking only for automobiles (beware of signs if event is going on at United Center).
