CALL-IN to the GOVERNOR on THURSDAY, AUGUST 6

TELL GOVERNOR QUINN TO:
GO to the Belleville News Democrat and read about the Illinois supermax.
SAY NO to these misguided and inhumane policies.
REFORM the supermax or CUT the funding!

1. Seriously mentally ill prisoners should not be in the supermax.
2. There must be a one-year limit to long-term isolation.
3. There must be clear standards and procedures for transfers to the supermax.
4. Prisoners must be able to earn their way out.
5. Demand independent mental health reviews of current Tamms prisoners.
