Starting Saturday at 3:00pm 100 cities over the U.S. participated in Invisible Children's event called The Rescue. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for the child soldiers in Uganda, and also the longest war in Africa. People abducted themselves to represent child soldiers being abducted by the LRA (Lords Resistance Army). The way for the city to be rescued can be accomplished by a few steps.

1. Raise an abundant amount of funds.
2. Write a certain amount of letters to the government to raise awareness.
3. Gaining media attention.
4. Be rescued by a public figure, that can be anyone from a political figure to someone of some sort of cultural influence.

Currently 94 cities 6 cities remain, Chicago being one of them. Chicago has gone through a number of trials they sat in rain for 48 hours and are constantly being moved from place to place, yet they still remain strong. They are currently located at:
