Over
225 people were killed and 700 wounded in Gaza on Saturday, December 27 in a series of Israeli attacks - with US-made and paid for weaponry - upon the Palestinian people. Journalists on the scene at Gaza Hospital report a
gruesome scene; shocked families pick through body parts to identify loved ones - amputated bodies are strewn throughout hallways because morgues in the city can no longer accommodate the dead.
These cold-blooded killings come on top of a Israeli imposed siege designed to crush the Palestinians into submission by denying them adequate fuel, food, medical supplies and electricity. According to a
report in the Israeli daily Ha'aretz, the Israeli military began to plan the latest attack over six months ago, even as Israel was beginning to negotiate a ceasefire agreement with Gaza.
The people of Gaza are standing steadfast in the face of these massacres but our voices must be heard to demand an immediate end to the massacres. The Israeli government has vowed to
continue these attacks - we must say no NOW!
