A new petition was created last night by an author who wants to remain anonymous. The petition calling for the end of construction and dismantlement of all illegal Israeli settlements and blocs in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The petition's statement is rather long but it does quote the Geneva Convention forbidden occupying powers to transfer their citizens into occupied territories. It describes the continual construction of settlements on the pre-1967 borders and 1949 armistice lines, local and economical consequences towards Palestinians, the Separation barrier and settlements and the destruction and diversion of resources from Palestinians to the settlers. Please pass this notice on to anyone interested.
