Heather Benno and John Beacham, PSL candidates for Illinois State Assembly, will be speaking at the meeting. Benno is running in the 40th District which includes Albany Park. Beacham is running in the 14th District which includes Rogers Park. Benno & Beacham will be on the Green Party ballot line.

In June, the Party for Socialism and Liberation will be marching in the Dyke March and the Pride Parade. The Dyke March is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008 . We will meet at 1800 S. Halsted ( Chicago Community Bank Park ) at 1:00 p.m. The march will step off at 2:30 p.m. The Chicago Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2008 . We will meet at Halsted and Wellington at 11:00 a.m.
