Weeklong economics school for activists and immigrant rights organizers
The Massachusetts based economics collective, Center for Popular Economics, is holding their week long Summer Institute July 27th-Aug 2 in Chicago. This year's institute has a special track on the economics of immigration and migration.

Week-long economics institute for activists and immigrant rights organizers
The CPE Summer Institute is a week-long intensive training in economics for activists, organizers, educators, and anyone who wants a better understanding of economics. Our Summer Institute attracts participants from across the U.S. and around the world. CPE believes economic literacy is pivotal in fighting for social justice.
This year's institute will be held at Roosevelt University in Chicago, and features both courses on the US and world economy. Scholarships are available to help activists attend; we provide 70-80% of participants with some form of financial aid. College credit is also available through the University of Massachusetts--Amherst. Many slots are still open! Help spread the word to fellow organizers and activists!
