Steger and Pawlenty team-up to inspire youth on global warming
Explorer Will Steger told college and high school students that business as usual on carbon emissions has brought us to a tipping point where the rate of global warming may end life on Earth as we know it - and that our time has run out, we must act now.

Steger also said the US needs to lead the world in taking action to halt carbon emissions from transportation and coal.
MN Governor Tim Pawlenty pointed a finger at China and India. Pawlenty added something about needing to be realistic on the need to meet power demands.
Both Steger and Pawlenty spoke at the Youth Forum on Global Warming Solutions at St. Thomas University, St. Paul Campus, yesterday, along with speakers from several colleges and high schools in Minnesota.
