An Unconventional Feeder March Against the War M/19

Thousands of people will descend on downtown Chicago on the evening of March 19th, 2008. Young and old, radical and liberal, we will march side by side to demonstrate our frustration and disgust with the War Machine that ravages our daily lives.

The following day we will take our anger to the doorsteps of the corporate criminals, in their offices, on thestreets, at their homes. March 20th is shaping up to be the largest day of coordinated Direct Actions against the war since 2003.

Unconventional Action Chicago is calling for a festive, family/workerfriendly feeder march the night of March 20th. We intend to converge on Federal Plaza and march as a unified bloc within the larger march.

What do we want it to look like?

We want cheerleaders, marching bands or other music makers, families, friends, street theatre brigades, radical christians, radical athiests, feminists, queers, transfolk, anarchist people of color, punk rock babies,sex workers, animal liberation activists, students, Wobblies and other union workers, Earth First!ers, flags, bucket drums, signs, banners,flamboyantly fabulous costumes. Get Creative! Save that dreary played out black mask for another time. Let's make this a carnival we won't forget.
