Chicago, IL: Save the date! On Wednesday, March 5th, 10:00 a.m., the public is invited to hear a noted environmentalist Larry Lohman, author of "Carbon Trading: A Critical Conversation on Climate Change, Privatization and Power," speak at Westside Health Authority, 5437 W. Division Street in Chicago.
Since 1997, Larry Lohman has worked with the Corner House, a research and solidarity organization based in the U.S. (
www.thecorenerhouse.org.uk). His degrees are from Cornell and Princeton Universities, and his impressive credentials include several books and many articles that have appeared in newspapers and journals around the world.
Lohman has co-authored Pulping the South: Industrial Tree Plantations, The Global Paper Economy, and Whose Common Future?
