2/4 Presentation: Bob Brown on Slavery and The Demand for Reparations

OUL is honored to present long-time activist, researcher and author Bob Brown. He will discuss his current book "Slavery and the Slave-Trade Were and Are Crimes Against Humanity! We Demand Revolution, Reparations and the Right-to-Return." He will also provide an update on the status of his ongoing lawsuit in Federal court that names as defendents Bank of America, Aetna, JP Morgan and others for their concealing of corporate slave trading histories. This litigation seeks to make these corporations accountable for their trade in human lives. Bob Brown is a former member of the Chicago Chapter of the Congress of Racial Equality, a former director of the Midwest Office of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, a co-founder of the Illinois Black Panther Party and an organizer for the All-African People's Revolutionary Party.
