Rob Sherman seeks Green Party nomination for 53rd district IL House; Kalbfleisch seeks other candidates for local offices
Former WJJG morning radio show host Rob Sherman, 55, of Buffalo Grove seeks the Green Party’s nomination to run against Sidney Mathias(R) in the 2008 general election for IL House of Representatives, 53rd district. Sherman is best known as a long time activist for the separation of church and state.

"The Green Party is the real party of change," said Sherman. “The Greens are everything that the two corporate political parties should be but aren't."
David J. Kalbfleisch, 10th congressional district Green candidate and Wheeling Township committee person, welcomes Sherman for consideration and seeks to slate additional Green candidates for northwestern and northern suburban state legislative districts and for Lake County Board. Prospective candidates should contact Kalbfleisch through his website,
www.electdave.org.
"The best way to promote real reform in our government is to be the reform," says Kalbfleisch. “I’m looking for people to carry the Green Party banner who want to make a difference and realize that the Democratic and Republican parties are never going to self-correct.”
All Green candidates are unified in not accepting any money from corporate political action committees and in their general agreement with the 10 Key Values of the international Green movement.
