The Chicago chapter of the International Solidarity Movement (www.palsolidarity.org) is committed to providing an opportunity for alternative actions for justice & peace activists on October 27. One of the activities will be banner displays over the Kennedy expressway in the morning hours followed by the feeder march at 1 PM that SDS is organizing.


We need volunteers to make large banners that will be visible to drivers on the expressway below and we need volunteers to participate in the banner displays. We are not doing "hit & run" banner drops due to our concern for public safety but also we because we want to make a public stand.

We will contact the National Lawyers Guild to see if they can provide legal observers for the action.

We need banners with the following wording:

*HONK FOR ...TROOPS OUT NOW!

*NO ATTACK ON IRAN!

*FREE PALESTINE! BOYCOTT ISRAEL!

Other slogans are also encouraged--especially if they target the spineless Democrats which are playing the same political game while more people die for corporate profits.
