Research estimates that up to one-fifth of those who are insured lack coverage they would need in the event of a chronic condition or catastrophic illness. Michael Moore’s new movie, SICKO, highlights one of the gravest crises facing people in the U.S. today, and aims to launch a national movement for the kind of single-payer health plans that most industrialized nations have already won.
