Rich Whitney presents "Power to the People"

Rich Whitney, the Illinois Green Party's (ILGP's) 2006 candidate for IL governor who received enough votes to give the ILGP statewide "established party" status, will be in Arlington Heights on Wednesday, July 25th, to present his "Power to the People" initiative.
Rich continues to work on issues between elections. "Power to the People" is about how citizens can organize to combat rising energy costs and demand alternative energy solutions from conglomerates like ComEd/Exelon.

The event is free, and all interested individuals are welcome to attend.

The presentation will be at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Hendrickson Room:

500 N. Dunton Avenue
Arlington Heights, IL 60004

The library is less than five minutes walk from the Arlington Heights Metra stop. (www.ahml.info)

The event begins at 6pm. Soft drinks will be available.

Rich is being hosted by the Green Party of Arlington Heights, IL (GPAHIL). Green Party congressional candidate Dave Kalbfleisch is the Chairperson of the GPAHIL, and he will be in attendence.
