Iraq Veterans Against the War brought the occupation of Iraq to Chicago city streets on Monday June 19th. Using creative street theater, the veterans acted out different scenerios outside Chicago landmarks like Daley Plaza, watertower place and war profiteers like Boeing and Army Recruitment centers. Stating that the first casualty of war is truth, the veterans wanted to show the truth of the Iraq occupation, with the hope that it will educate people against the war.
