Vets Gather to Mark Memorial Day, Oppostion to War
Hundreds of vets and their supporters gathered on Monday for a Memorial Day remembrance for those who've died in U.S. wars -- and to urge an end to U.S. sponsored wars of aggression. Among the vets who came were soldiers who saw service in Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, and the Second World War -- including one 91-year-old woman who served in WWII as a nurse, and has been one of the most tireless supporters of Vietnam Vets Against the War.
