Sick and Getting Sicker:
THE NIGHTMARE OF THE U.S. HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
& WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT
THURSDAY, MAY 10 @ 7:00pm
Acme Art Works, 1741 N. Western Ave. (2 blocks south of Blue Line
Western stop)
Today in the richest country on earth over 45 million people suffer
without health insurance. The choice between paying rent, buying
groceries, or buying medicine has become a fact of life for far too
many. Services at our community hospitals and clinics are cut
drastically or even closed completly-putting people out of work and
threatening the lives of patients.
This public forum will bring together healthcare workers and activists
fighting for a healthcare system based on people not corporate
profits. Join us!
