John Zerzan will be exploring "The Deepening Crisis and its Roots" in his talk. Todays crisis is pervasive and deepening, accelerating it's impact on all life on Earth. It could be that the massified techno-culture is the problem not the solution. The roots of alienation, and the environmental crisis could extend all the way back to the foundations of civilization. Zerzan and Tucker will explore the effects of civilization and ask what a truly sustainable society looks like.
