This weekend is shaping up to be a busy one for Chicago animal rights activists. In order to not conflict with Mercy For Animals KFC protest, ADL Chicago is changing the time of the Burberry Protest on Saturday from 1:00-2:00pm to 2:30-3:30pm. Sorry for the confusion.
This is a chance to have a busy weekend fighting for the animals! Please come out to the Mercy for Animals KFC protest from 1:00-2:00pm before the
fur demo! ADL activist will be there to support MFA and then head over to Burberry for our fur protest. Also, MFA is having a protest against the
illegal sales of foie gras in Chicago at a benefit to raise money to continue this animal cruelty on Sunday, please come out and show your support. Below is a schedule of this weekends events, hope to see you all there:
Saturday, February 24th, 1:00-2:00pm
MFA's KFC Protest
748 W. Diversey Ave.
Join Mercy For Animals as they continue to support the boycott against KFC for refusing to implement the animal welfare standards that its own Animal
Welfare Board recommended years ago.
Saturday, February 24th, 2:30-3:30pm
Burberry (633 N. Michigan)
Come out and let Burberry know that the animals they kill have a voice in the animal rights movement. As long as the animals die, we will not sit by and watch while Burberry profits from murder of 50,000,000 animals a year.
Sunday, February 25th, 5:00pm
Foie Gras Protest
Cyrano's (546 N. Wells St.)
Please join Mercy For Animals as we protest the illegal sales of foie gras in Chicago at a benefit to raise money to continue this animal cruelty.
Foie gras is French for "fatty liver," and is created by intense animal abuse. The Chicago City Council banned foie gras in Chicago, yet some
restaurants continue to sell it. Help us send a clear message that animal cruelty is unacceptable.
