They started an illegal war!
They are engaging in torture!
They have nullified habeas corpus!
They are conducting illegal surveillance on Americans!

And they will continue these crimes for two more years, unless we make them stop!

It is time to hold these people in our government accountable for their crimes. And we should start at the top, with the people who are really responsible! Let’s demand investigations, impeachment, and removal from office of George Bush and Dick Cheney. We are fed up with the cover-ups and the lying, and we demand that the public be told the truth. We demand that there be full investigations. We demand that there be consequences. We demand that George Bush and Dick Cheney be removed from office and tried for their crimes.

On Human Rights Day, Sunday, December 10, all across the country, people will be joining together to call for the impeachment and removal from office of the war criminals George Bush and Dick Cheney. Here in Chicago, a number of activists will be getting together in public places to agitate the public to call for the president and vice president to be impeached and removed from office. If the people want Bush and Cheney to pay for what they have done, we have to demand it. It will not happen unless we make it happen.

We the people must put impeachment on the table, no matter what Nancy Pelosi, John Conyers, and Howard Dean say.

On Sunday, December 10, from 12 to 3 p.m., we will gather in front of the Chicago Art Institute on Michigan Avenue to demand that Bush and Cheney be impeached and removed from office. There is a lot of vehicle and pedestrian traffic there, so bring signs, banners, noisemakers, and anything else you have that relates to impeaching Bush and Cheney. We will have extra signs if you need them, and we will have flyers to hand out and petitions to sign. All are welcome to participate. Please forward this announcement to friends and groups.
