On the eve of Fur Free Friday, while we sit comfortably in our homes, stuffing ourselves with Tofurkey and other vegan goodies, take a moment to remember the 40,000,000 animals who die annually for the fur trade. Animals who die for nothing more then vanity, greed and profit. Think of the animals who spend their entire lives in small cages, with every natural instinct denied to them, just waiting for the day that they will be killed. Think of the animals in steel jawed leg hold traps trying to chew off their own leg to escape their fate, then ask yourself, "what am I going to do about it?"
Don't let their deaths go unnoticed, get up, get active and join us for the annual Fur Free Friday march.
City: Chicago, Illinois
Date: Friday November 24th
Time: Meet at 12 noon (march starts at 12:30 p.m.)

The more people we have, the more powerful our message. If you can only
make it out one day during the fur-free season, this is it.
Directly after Fur Free Friday:
Chicago Soy Dairy After-party/SHAC 7 Fundraiser!!!
After the march ends at the Water Tower on Michigan Ave (2:00pm approximately), head on over to Lake Shore Park (just west of the lake on Chicago Ave.) for a SHAC 7 fundraiser party hosted by the Chicago Soy Dairy. This event will feature hot cocoa for everyone, a warming tent, turkey-free bowl football game, cookout on a vegan grill & a cold weather ice cream eating contest with prizes!
All money raised will go directly to the SHAC 7 to help with their appeal and to put money on their commissary while they are in prison.
$10 for people just attending the party.
$5 for those who take place in the march.
Make the day after Thanksgiving a great one for the animals and for those who fight for them. Come out to the march and stay for the party. See you in the streets!
