This dance troupe is the most prominent one in all of Palestine, and has not had the opportunity to visit Chicago in many years. Considering the continuing occupation of Palestinian land and of Iraq, and the recent war in Lebanon, El Funoun's presence in the U.S. and Chicago will be an inspirational one to all people who believe in social justice around the world.
