On Monday October 30, 2006 at 4:30pm there will be a vigil/celebration in memory of Brad Will outside of the Mexican Consulate. In life Brad knew that fun was essential to the revolutionary struggle. Without fun and relaxation every activist gets burned out. We know that if Brad survived and someone else died he would want to celebrate that person's life, he would want to party in the memory of that person. So on Monday at 4:30 there will be a short, quiet vigil followed by...that's right... a dance party! Bring candles, music, instruments, food, and whatever fun things your heart desires. However, the struggle in Oaxaca continues. Brad was not the first person to die in Oaxaca, nor was he the last. This vigil and celebration will be in memory of all of those who have died and all of those who continue to fight for liberation in Oaxaca.
