Absolutely right. At least yours ended up in the "hidden" section. I spent 3 hours writing an honest critique of CIMC's posting the ANSWER release on Israel/Palestine, and it's just GONE. Not hidden, like the fuckers who have taken over this site's editorial collective would have you believe is "policy".

CIMC has turned into a joke.

What happened to being "open minded"? Guess it's more important that NOBODY be allowed to question, or to hear an opposing point of view.

To have no effective community involvement, reporting or serious exchange of information means there is no Chicago IMC. Why bother pretending?

Maybe closing the page down would generate some actual interest, and some active volunteers for this moribund site in an important city.
On the newswire now is insane Nazi propaganda, spam reposts and a center column that hasn't been updated through three very busy weeks.

Why do you bother pretending there is a Chicago IMC? It's a clique's bulletin board, not a media center and not really much of anything at all. Because no one care's enough to make anything of the site or simply moderate the newswires of hate propaganda, lies, random rumors and trolling.

If I were a "member" of the Chicago IMC, I'd vote to close this website and stop pretending....... a horse with a broken leg wandering around, looking for the race.

If anyone were even trying, this would be harsh -- but so many IMCs are just dustbins right now.

Speaking for my own self entirely, as a one time Indymedia volunteer from another city, what a waste.

What's the point?
