The next Evanston Critical Mass ride will be this Friday, June 2! Rides are held the first Friday of every month.
This Friday we'll have our monthly Evanston Critical Mass ride - and we'd love to have you join us!
We meet at 6pm on the first Friday of every month at Fountain Square, which is the intersection of
Davis, Sherman, and Orrington (about 2 blocks east of the Davis Purple Line stop, in downtown
Evanston.) Our first ride last month was a big success (we had almost 50 riders!) and lots of fun. So come join us this month for a bigger ride and even more fun.
Again, that's THIS FRIDAY - June 2 - at 6pm.
Critical Mass is a worldwide movement to promote bicycles as a viable means of urban
transportation. Massive group bicycle rides are held once a month in cities around the country.
Why? Increase the visibility of bicyclists. Assert our right to the road. Create a space for a
moving celebration of (and on) bikes! Empower ourselves to envision alternatives to "car-culture," our society's overdependence on the private automobile. Above all, because BIKES ARE FUN!
Evanston Critical Mass now has a web page, so check us out at...
