OUL welcomes Israeli scholar-activist Yigal Bronner who will discuss the ramifications of the "separation wall" now being constructed in the West Bank. By violating international laws, democratic norms and universal rights. the Jewish state is rushing headlong into a wall. Professor Bronner will argue against the philosophy of separation that is confining Israel in a new ghetto, armed to the teeth but more and more isolated from the world.

Professor Bronner is an activist with the group Ta'ayush an Arab-Jewish partnership. He teaches South Asian languages at the University of Chicago.
