"Hate Crime" Film Benefit this Thursday for the Gay Liberation Network

Following a sold-old screening at last year's "Reeling 2005," Chicago's LGBT film festival, the award winning film "Hate Crime" returns to Chicago’s Century Centre Cinema, 2828 N. Clark Street, for a limited run. The opening night, Thursday, May 11th, features guest appearances from many of the film's principals and will benefit the Gay Liberation Network (the regular run is May 13-18th).

Film score composer Ebony Tay will lead off opening night with a performance, and following the film she will join a discussion with director and producer Tommy Stovall, lead actor Seth Peterson, and GLN's Andy Thayer.

Tickets for the 7 PM, May 11th opening night are $15 and are available at the Century Cinema box office, at both Specialty Video outlets (5307 N. Clark Street and 3221 N. Broadway), or by calling GLN at 773.878.3697.

"Hate Crime" won "Best Feature / Audience Choice" at the Sedona International Film Festival, "Best Feature / Audience Award" at the Out Takes Dallas Film Festival, "Best Feature / Audience Choice" at the Q Cinema – Fort Worth Film Festival, and "Best Men’s Feature / Emerging Film Award" at the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
