The Festival of Rights on Chicago Independent TV A27, M1, M12, M20, M26

ON THE SHOW THIS MONTH:

On March 18th, 2006 thousands of Chicagoans joined together to protest the third anniversary of the Iraq War. Their demands were simple: End the war and occupation, and bring the troops home now. The march itself was called the Festival of Rights and it's route down Michigan Avenue represented a victory for free speech in Chicago.

In this episode we'll hear from the organizers and participants, we'll see coverage of the march itself, and we'll follow some of the neighborhood feeder marches earlier in the day.
