The other Transatlantic Alliance!
David Rovics is from Massachusetts. Writes perceptive, intelligent, incisive, angry songs, sung to an accomplished acoustic guitar
backing: the heir to the mantle of Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs. He is permanently on tour – in the US, the UK and all over mainland Europe - and recently returned from the occupied territories in Palestine. He sings at political
rallies and demonstrations all over the place, and his songs are becoming increasingly heard on the radio, from ‘Democracy Now’ in the US to Andy Kershaw’s national BBC folk music radio show in the UK.
