Millions of us are marching again, this time in reminiscence of the Via Crucis, in the name of the Golgotha of our Lord Jesus Christ. Some of us will simply go to the beach, to enjoy the beauties of nature, some carelessly will pass over, will land in the depths of the ocean, again others recklessly, even drunken, will cause horrible road accidents, as has always been the case during every Easter or Christmas holiday. Tens of us will die, many others will be born. La lutta continua!

However, some of us will stay at home, will look at Discovery Channel and inform ourselves about the evils of society, about the discovery of the Gospel of Judas, about religious censorship, hoaxes and lies. A few will begin to realize how they have been bamboozled across the millennia. At any event, and this is very important, currently Venezuela is happy. frolicking, marching, fighting, praying. It is the great calm. Let us relax, on the "alba", on the horizon, dark clouds are nearing. Treachery, treason looms.

What the bulk of our comrades are not always aware of is the real state of global affairs, of the true lurking dangers, not only of "Mr. Danger", but of a planet in agony. Also, we are not fully aware of the weapons of mass destruction that await us. During these days of "spiritual retirement", of profound transcendental meditation about a very dangerous year of presidential elections, with the NATO and the Pentagon already on our door-step, on our heels in Zulia, in our Caribbean waters, seriously we offer the following recollection for serious revolutionary consideration and emancipatory reflection.

Over the years, we have been warning about the devastating effects of the labor process, that is, of the perverse, absurd non-relation between nature and society, in reality, we described modern capitalism on planet Earth. As a result of certain psychological mechanisms, daily we read the fragmentary apocalyptic news, are shocked for a moment, but rapidly we think about more pleasant things again, about buying the next cell phone, and thus we forget, we return to our immediate life struggle, and in this way rapidly we forget all the real dangers that threaten our very existence on Earth. In this way, the real revolutionary battle is postponed until mañana, and again to mañana por la mañana, and in the end, all of us end up vegetating in radio-active, mortal and lethal dust.

Hence, in a very timely documentation, in cooperation with GRID-Arendal, Le Monde diplomatique has published its recent work, "Planet in Peril: Atlas of Current Threats to People and the Environment".

We really welcome this educational contribution toward informing the world public about coming dangers and battles. Among other things, this atlas makes us aware of the following:

* The polar ice caps are melting faster than we could imagine;

* We have reached the point of no return for global warming;

* Water is already becoming a rarity, soon oxygen will follow;

* The resources of the ocean which covers 71% of the Earth’s surface are under serious threat:

* Nuclear power only makes up a minor contribution to world energy consumption, also there is still no solution to the problem of nuclear waste and the risk of proliferation;

* The potential of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) for killing large numbers of people is increasing by the day;

* The progressive, geometric explosion of hunger, of global pauperization - in 2000 there were already 852 million undernourished people on Earth:

*We are dangerously devouring genetically engineered foodstuffs without any guarantee of health safety. Health care itself is globally in a mess;

* As a possible, future world power, China is becoming the workshop of the 21st century but increasingly serious environmental and energetic problems at home are already threatening its continued growth.

Of course, like in similar projects, the matrix of 'Earth and Humanity in Peril' does not appear on the map, that is, the already raging current terrorist global wars, that already have claimed the lives of ten thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan. Surely, a map, an atlas has limitations, however, very little is mentioned about the historic perils of capitalism across the ages, about the millions of victims who were murdered by social order, by violent class rule. Their lives were also in peril: the deaths of the 20 victims of April 11 in Venezuela also form part of the total eclipse of life in our galaxy.

Definitely, Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) appear on the atlas, but the apocalyptic details, for example, of HAARP, are not highlighted. Let us remind our readers, what such projects using Tesla technology, as explained by Valery I. Titarenko, are capable of doing:

Now, the world could understand, why even in the USA the weather is not fine anymore since decades. In fact, planetary climate, temperatures, earthquakes and droughts are not natural anymore. Hurricanes or floods are now man-made, can be directed towards the "axis of evil", towards Vargas, Mérida, New Orleans or Iran, even towards eliminating obsolete physical labor forces in the Congo, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique or Southern Africa, where man-made AIDS is already playing havoc with the impoverished population.

However, as we know, although the authors are fully aware of the real peril of fascist world wars, unfortunately, in the list of current maps these obvious dangers do not appear as yet expressis verbis with special emphasis in the world atlas of Le Monde Diplomatique.

Who places the tens of millions of African slaves who were murdered on a world map? What about the six million Congolese that were massacred under the reign of King Leopold of Belgium? What is the problem? Are they too black to qualify for a Holocaust? Holding hands, would these victims of European colonialism not go around the equator?
