On May 1 in Chicago immigrants and their supporters are organizing a Mass March & Rally for Immigrant Rights. ANSWER Chicago calls on all people - citizens and non-citizens - to support this crucial struggle by mobilizing for the nation-wide May 1 Boycott and the Chicago March & Rally.

A powerful mass movement for immigrant rights has emerged and continues to grow. Immigrant workers have stood up and declared that they have had enough of inequality, discrimination and racism. From March 10 to April 10, 2006 - in hundreds of cities big and small - over 5 million immigrants and their supporters took to the streets in a powerful show of force to demand justice and equality. Let's help keep the momentum! Broad based support of all working people for amnesty and full equality for all immigrants is fundamental in this developing struggle for civil rights.

On May 1 ANSWER Chicago is inviting individuals and groups to march in an AMNESTY NOW Contingent. We will demand: "AMNISTÍA: Full Rights for All Immigrants NOW!"
