National War Tax Resistance

The third anniversary of our war on the people of Iraq has passed. If you're unhappy about this war, don't let your tax dollars pay for it!
Here we are again, knee deep in tax filing season. I became a war tax resister last year, and I write to invite you to join me in whatever level of resistance suits your lifestyle and level of disgust with war.

The third anniversary of our war on the people of Iraq has passed, and we’re approaching the fifth anniversary of our bombing Afghanistan's people. Almost $250 billion have been spent to date in Iraq alone.

It seems clear to me if we keep giving our government money, our government will continue spending most of it on war toys. And our history tells us that as long as we have stockpiles of these toys, we will find excuses to use them.

Okay, if you’re reading Indy media posts you probably didn’t need me to tell you all this, so I’ll get to the point: I say let’s turn the tables on these fiscally irresponsible people who spend us into debt and then raise their debt allowance. To coin a phrase, let’s starve the beast!

The first two links below have resources that can help you decide what form of resistance is right for you.
