Lynne Stewart is a long-time National Lawyers Guild member whose peers in the New York state criminal defense bar have honored her as one of best in their ranks. She obeyed her ethical duty to advocate zealously for her client, no matter how unpopular. For her actions while representing the media-dubbed "Blind Sheik," she was convicted in a "terrorism" trial. Now this grandmother faces prison.
