I believe that the powers that be, both government and corporate have corrupted and influenced government policy and corporate agendas to take advantage of the American people. This is a betrayal of the public trust. We cannot have a true democracy based on lies, half truths and misinformation. Business as usual seems to include the idea that to not get caught in a lie is as good as telling the truth. If we allow this stay the accepted norm we have no democracy, all we have is the good old boys club who are out to get all they can at anyone's expense.

I believe with this attitude we must demand at least a ration of the truth. Freedom does not include abandonment of the truth. Truth is not something to be used at will, it is called for in every Religion, government and personal ideal. How can we let our government and corporations treat it like some rare attitude that they use only when they want or are forced. I hope that in this new year we can all make the resolution to use the truth in all our relationships, Governmental, corporate and personal. Please share this with the people everywhere. Jared
